Come and join the Downtown Hope Center to prepare and serve a hearty and delicious homemade meal to the community of Anchorage! The holidays are a wonderful time to gather your friends and family to serve. Each year there are new memories made that bring joy to each person that serves, including our staff. Laughter is heard throughout the kitchen and shelter as the smell of ham, turkey, yams, and green beans fills the air. We have each Holiday Dinner broken into 1-hour shifts from 10 am-5 pm. You are welcome to serve more than 1 hour. Sign up to secure your spot to volunteer on Christmas today!
