Everyone's favorite kitchen manager, Vicki Martin, has recently decided it's time to leave the Downtown Hope Center after many years of dedicated service. Vicki has been an invaluable member of the Hope Center since its early days as the 'Downtown Soup Kitchen' - planning soup and sandwiches, coordinating volunteers, and spreading her joy and love of Jesus to our guests. She is truly part of the 'heart' of the Downtown Hope Center - what we do and who we are. Her love for our clients, leadership of our volunteers, and her immaculately kept kitchen will leave a lasting legacy on this organization. We are so grateful she chose to stick with us through many difficult years of transitions, whether it was patiently waiting out times of financial hardship, helping develop a plan for the soup kitchen in the new building, or supporting us through the emergence of Feed Me Hope Culinary School and Bakery. She is such a blessing to Hope Center and to all who come in contact with her. We wish her a restful and rejuvenating sabbatical before she embarks on the next adventure in her life.
